SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A doctor who moved from Altoona to take a job in Scranton faces several criminal charges.

Dr. Christopher Donohue works in Scranton CMC's emergency room. He's charged with indecent assault, false imprisonment and harassment. Police say it stems from a 2006 incident involving a female co-worker at Altoona Regional Medical Center.

Scranton CMC acknowledged the investigation into Dr. Donohue and released the following statement:

"We do believe that everyone has a right to due process, and we respect and support that right. CMC is committed to providing the highest quality care in a safe, compassionate environment for all patients and employees."

Dr. Donohue's preliminary hearing is set for January 28th in Altoona.
