LEHIGH TWP., CARBON COUNTY -- A Carbon County house is destroyed after a late-night fire.

It happened in Lehigh Township along Indian Run Road. Firefighters tell Eyewitness News the homeowners left a log burning in a fireplace, and then left for a few hours.

The home caught fire and killed a dog inside. Nobody else was hurt.
