DUPONT, LUZERNE COUNTY- Firefighters in Luzerne County battled a blaze in Dupont Tuesday morning.

The first started just after 8:00 A. M. at a home on the 300 block of Everhart Street.

Firefighters say nobody was home at the time of the fire but crews did rescue a dog from inside.

There's no word on what sparked the fire.
