KINGSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY- The thieves are still on the loose but some good samaritans have made sure the team could move forward.
Team Vice President Tammy Wenger says hundreds of dollars of donations have rolled in to help the team’s concession stand in Kingston.
Thieves stole microwaves, money, and more two weeks ago. Since then Wenger says people donated a new microwave, two crock pots, and food. "It was beautiful. It was very, very touching that people gave like they did. I mean from what I understand this one woman didn't even have kids and she came up and gave us a check. It was very nice," said Wenger.
The thieves also tried to break into the team's equipment shed, but couldn't kick the door down. That door has since been fixed. Wenger says they could still use a new hot dog machine. Two were stolen and she says that would be a big help.
