HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Another business has announced plans to layoff dozens of local workers.
This time the job cuts affect workers at General Mills in the Humboldt Industrial Park. Company officials said Wednesday that they're selling a portion of its bakery and food service business and that's the reason why layoffs are needed.
About 60 workers in Luzerne County will be affected.
