SUGARLOAF TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY -- Eyewitness News has learned drug charges will be filed against at least seven students at a Luzerne County elementary school.
The I-Team confirmed police will charge the students from the Valley Elementary and Middle School in Sugarloaf Township.
The students are all 13-years old. Most are 7th graders.
They're accused of using marijuana and possessing pain killers inside the school.
Sam Marolo is Superintendent of Schools. He insists that the situation is under control. "Parents don't have to worry about this we have everybody involved down at the school we'll take care of that part as far as revealing what's happening I can't comment on that," he told Eyewitness News. | | |
