SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY

A Scranton man faces a string of drug charges after his arrest Friday afternoon.

City police searched the home of 41-year-old Kevin Roby at 1002 Acker Avenue in West Scranton. They were called to the residence after a State Parole agent spotted what be believed was marijuana as he met with Roby during a supervision visit.

Police found 1100 bags of heroin with an estimated street value of $22,000. They also seized $18,000 in currency,7 grams of marijuana, 44 xanax pills, a replica firearm (actually a bb gun), and two vehicles.

Roby will be charged with felony possession of heroin and related drug charges.
