DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Dunmore is trying to climb out of debt.
Thursday the borough got the green light to apply for more than one-million dollars in loans.
The approval came from three county judges.
Dunmore is millions of dollars in the red.
Even if the loan is approved, the borough will still finish the year with a 340-thousand dollar deficit.
Officials say layoffs may be needed to balance the books. | | |
