STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY - It was day two of testimony in the rape trial of an East Stroudsburg University professor.

Richard Nyamwange is accused of attacking an ESU student that once worked for him.
The alleged victim was 19 years old at the time. On Friday the prosecution wrapped up its case after it called 9 witnesses.

In the afternoon the defense began to present its case. So far 20 witnesses have taken the stand for the defense, 15 of which were character witnesses. One of the defense witnesses testified she saw the alleged victim leave with the professor's home, with the professor the day of the alleged rape.

The so called victim told police she fled the home in tears after the alleged attack.
Also a recording was played which featured a conversation between Nyawange and the alleged victim. Nyamwange could be heard denying raping the woman while she can also be heard acknowledging that he didn't rape her.
