JACKSON TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY- If you or someone you know has an eating disorder, you can find help this weekend in the Poconos.
Parents who lost their daughter to bulimia are hosting a special event at East Stroudsburg University.
Shelby Starner died six years ago. She was 19-years-old.
Her family said she battled bulimia for more than two years before it took her life.
Now they want to help other families spot the warning signs.
They've invited an expert who will talk to you for free at ESU on Sunday.
The event will also include a fund-raising walk for the National Eating Disorders Association.
The entry fee for the walk is $15. Registration starts at 12:30. | | |
