WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Police in Wilkes-Barre are looking for the person responsible for a stabbing on the south side of the city.

It happened early Friday morning on Franklin Street.

Investigators say Albert Dehaven of Edwardsville was stabbed repeatedly in the hand, arm, neck and leg while being robbed.

Officers are looking for 37-year-old Melvin Stuart in connection with the crime.

If you have information on his whereabouts, you are asked to call Wilkes-Barre P.D.

The robbery suspect got away with $32.
