Elderly Couple Injured in Arson Released from Hospital - Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 6:23PM EST

FISHING CREEK TWP., COLUMBIA COUNTY- A Columbia County couple is out of the hospital after a fire nearly took their lives almost three weeks ago.
Rubin and Pauline Albertson of Fishing Creek Township were pulled from their burning home on May 11th. They suffered burns and smoke inhalation.

Since that time, a member of the Orangeville Fire Company, 19-year old Colton Barrett, has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the fire. The fire chief's wife was also arrested on arson charges.

The Albertsons were released from the hospital earlier this week.
