HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY -- An 87-year-old man died after a crash in Luzerne County. Police say Aliihan Turan went through a stop sign on 21st Street.

He drove into the path of a tractor trailer traveling south on Route 309. The force of the impact caused Turan's car to hit another vehicle.

Turan was taken to Hazleton General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
