LACKAWANNA COUNTY - A neighborhood in Scranton is back to normal this morning following a late Monday night stand-off.

Just after 6 p. m. a 67-year-old woman got into a fight with her neighbor on Prescott Ave.

She got a revolver and threatened to hurt her neighbor and herself. Her son-in-law got the gun away from her but she went for another gun.

The SWAT Team arrived on the scene and shut down the Avenue.

At some point the woman left the house and was picked-up by her nephew. He took her to the State Police barracks.

So essentially for hours police had surrounded an empty house.

The woman was then taken to Scranton CMC for a mental evaluation.

No charges will be filed.
