There's one dedicated group that woke up even earlier than Black Friday shoppers Friday morning.

Retail employees, like here at the Target store at Lycoming Crossings, clocked in as early as 3am.

They say adrenaline carries them through the long hours of the biggest shopping day of the year.

Managers say teamwork and having a good time are the keys to success.

Store Manager Alyssa Loudenslager explained, "It's usually the fun day for us in the holiday season. Just busy with guests, constantly busy. But you know it's like the month or two beforehand that is the real prepping and planning for our Black Friday."

Retailers also say they're looking forward to the month of holiday shopping to come.
