DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- The Endless Mountain Movie Theater Complex in Dickson City closed its doors for good on Tuesday night. The building that housed the 8-screen theater complex has been sold to the Parker Hill Community Church.

Dave Castelli has operated the theaters for the past 22-years. His attempts to purchase the building were rejected. Castelli says the closing leaves a dozen people out of work.

Several people were surprised when they pulled up to the theaters on Wednesday to find them closed. Ramona Saprono of Lake Wallenpaupack said the closing was 'very sad.'
Mrs. Saprono said she came to the theaters often with her grandchildren.

Castelli says he plans to be back in the business, somewhere in the area, as soon as possible.
