BUTLER TWP., SCHUYLKILL COUNTY -- A cooking accident in the kitchen is blamed for a fire that leaves an Ashland area home in ruins.

It happened just after 2:00 Saturday morning on Fairgrounds Road in Butler Township. The damage tops $100,000.

Police say some members of the Maclean family were hurt when they jumped from a porch roof to escape the flames.
