MOUNT POCONO, MONROE COUNTY - Family and friends gathered to remember two murder victims Sunday. Twenty-one year old Victoria Adams and her 18 month old son Sidney were shot to death Monday. Police say the baby's father Michael Parrish killed them.

Victoria's family invited Eyewitness News to attend a memorial service Sunday at the Pula and Bensing Funeral Home in Mount Pocono.

Inside the funeral home a mother and son share a casket. Little Sidney Adams lies tucked against his mother Victoria Adams. "They've always been inseperable and it shouldn't be any different now," said family friend Nancy Heil.

She said Victoria lived for her son. Victoria's cousin Theresa Burgold remarked, "The dedication that she had to her child was just unbelievable."

Sidney was born with a heart defect. He spent most of his life in the hospital but was a happy baby through it all. Burgold said, "He clung to his Mommy. He knew that's who loved him most."

Burgold told Eyewitness News she played with Sidney during a recent visit. She said, "He was healthy and he was walking and he was eating his cookies and he was just dancing."

Dagan Ownes was Victoria's friend. They were once engaged. He said, "We've alwaysw loved each other and that will never end. She's always with me."

He said Victoria loved music and dancing. And he will miss everything about her. "Her laugh, her smile, her heart. She had a big heart. She loved animals," he said.

Everyone agreed, Victoria loved her son more than anything. They lived together, died together, and will spend forever together.

"It's a tragedy that this even had to be this way. It's heartbreaking to see," said Heil.
