EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY - If you suspect someone you know has an eating disorder, or if you have one yourself, you can find help this weekend in the Poconos.

Parents who lost their daughter to Bulimia are hosting a special event at East Stroudsburg University.

Shelby Starner died six years ago. She was 19 years old. Her parents said she battled the illness for more than two years before it took her life.

Now they went to help other families spot the warning signs. They've invited an expert who will talk to you for free at ESU on Sunday.

Shelby's mother Kathy Benn said, "When you feel that you can't - there's no where to turn in your community for the help you need - it is just overwhelming."

The event will also include a fund raising walk for the National Easting Disorders Association. The entry fee is $15. Registration starts at 12:30.
