DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- An overnight fire that forced a family of 8 out of there Dickson City home has been ruled accidental.

An electrical short started the fire in the 800 block of Walker Street just after midnight. The fire started on the second floor and spread to the attic.

John McHale, his wife and their 6 children lived at the home. No one was injured.

The Red Cross is helping the McHale family.
