OLD FORGE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Three people were forced out of their home in Old Forge by fire Friday morning.

Hasanah Muhammad said her daughter awoke her and her girlfriend as smoke filled the house. Ms. Muhammad said she believed the fire was started by a candle her daughter had burned throughout the night. No one was injured.

A State Police Fire Marshal has been called in to try to determine the cause of that blaze.
