JESSUP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A family of four is forced to rebuild their lives after a Lackawanna County fire.

Flames broke out Friday night around 8:30 in Jessup at the Mazzoni family home. The fire in the 1200 block of Waddell Street appears to have spread from the garage to the house. Flames gutted the garage and destroyed a truck and caused heavy damage on the first floor.

The Mazzonis are staying with relatives but the Red Cross is also helping. A state police fire marshal is searching for the cause.
