Fire Funds to Help Two Luzerne County Families - Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 10:20PM EST

EXETER - Separate relief funds will help two Exeter families who lost everything in a late-week fire.
The fire Thursday night destroyed half of the double-block home in the 1800 block of Scarboro Street .
The other side sustained moderate damage.
More than a dozen people from both families combined were forced from their homes.
We talked with fire victim Ken Caton, who lived on the less-damaged side of the building which is now condemned.
He was laid off this past year and his family recently got rid of their renters' insurance.
Caton and his wife are staying at a hotel for now with their three teen-aged sons and two grandchildren who are ages 8-months and 2-years old.
Donations to the Caton Family Relief Fund can be made at any area PNC bank.
And donations to the Bennet and Peters Family Relief Fund can be made at Wachovia Bank in Exeter or any Wachovia Bank branch.
