SUGARLOAF TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Two elderly women are homeless after a fast moving fire at a home in Sugarloaf Township Tuesday afternoon.
The blaze damaged the home on Pecora Road just before 11:00 A. M. The women, who are both confined to wheelchairs, were alerted to the fire by their dog. That's when they escaped.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The women are staying with relatives tonight.
