Fire Hits Pottsville Apartment Building - Monday, March 30, 2009 at 11:43AM EST

POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- An overnight Schuylkill County apartment building fire has residents staying elsewhere.
Flames broke out just before 1:30 A. M. in the 300-block of Fairview Street. The fire caused extensive damage to the upper 2 floors while the first floor sustained water damage.

4-people living there got out safely. A neighbor had to spend the night elsewhere as a precaution.

Firefighters are trying to pinpoint the cause but don't believe it's suspicious.
