11-year old Alyssa Clocker has spent the past two days knocking on doors in her neighbors. She has been asking for money to help the Clark family of Stroudsburg.
The Clarks were featured in a story right here on WBRE News after a fire took their home. The Clarks have been staying in a Salvation Army shelter since the fire but now they must move. They remain in need of shelter, food and clothing. Alyssa decided to step in and help.
So far Alyssa has raised more than $160. Her generosity has made her parents proud. Her father has stepped in to help as well. Staff Sergeant Kevin Clocker will be opening the doors to the Plymouth Armory for additional donations of clothing, food and blankets. The armory in Plymouth will be open Wednesday. | |
