PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY- A fire investigator is trying to determine what sparked a Luzerne County house fire.

Flames broke out Friday night around 10:00 at a double-block home in Pittston. Smoke was pouring from the roof in the 200-block of Parsonage Street.

Both families living there were evacuated safely. Crews confined the fire to the attic.

The Red Cross is helping out the families of that fire-damaged double block Luzerne County home.
