LAKE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Investigators say a weekend fire that destroyed the home of a local Pennsylvania Patriot is not an accident.

Monday afternoon a State Police Fire Marshal inspected the fire scene in Lake Township. He determined someone intentionally set the fire Saturday night on Tulip Road.

Captain Joe Ruotolo was renovating the home that his parents own. He was fixing up the place before he deploys to Iraq.

Captain Ruotolo is Commander of Battery B, the 109th Field Artillery Division of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
