SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Fire investigators say weekend fire that damaged a home where three people were murdered earlier this year was a case of arson.

The fire broke out at the house of South Irving Avenue Sunday morning. Fire inspectors say it was started in the basement area.

The house was the scene of a triple murder in July. Randal Rushing is charged with killed Justin Berrios, Dustin Hintz, and Leslie Collier in the house.
