SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Fire investigators in Lackawanna County are trying to find the cause of a fire that damaged a Scranton home Tuesday afternoon, where one firefighter was bitten by a dog on the scene.

The rear porch of the home on North Main Avenue caught on fire, and by the time fire crews arrived the flames had already spread to the second floor of an exterior wall.

No one was home when the fire broke out but there was a dog at the residence.

One fireman had to be treated after being bitten by that dog.
