HEPBURN TWP., LYCOMING COUNTY- A firefighter died in a morning fire in his family's home.

The fire was reported just before 8:00 this morning on the 200 block of Sawmill Road at the Brass Trailer Park in Hepburn Township. That’s just north of Cogan Station.

The county coroner has yet to release the victim's name but sources say the victim was a Hepburn Township firefighter who was home at the time of the fire and didn’t make it out.
