LUZERNE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Friends and family said their final good-byes to a Luzerne County firefighter, Friday morning.

Ryan Broghamer, 25, Hanover Township, was laid to rest. He died Tuesday from carbon monoxide poisoning when his SUV caught fire near his home.

Broghamer was a volunteer firefighter with the Maltby Volunteer Fire Company in Swoyersville. He was also an emergency medical technician.

A new ambulance will be dedicated in Broghamer's honor.
