PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY - Firefighters in part of Luzerne County were on the move early Sunday morning.

Flames raced through a home at the Pocono Trailer Park in Plains Township around 9:30 AM. The woman who lives in the home, Eleanor Good, was home at the time. She was not hurt.

Investigators say the fire did heavy damage to the home.

"Heavy smoke damage throughout the entire structure. It appeared to start underneath the trailer. No one was injured," Captain Mark Ritsick of the Plains Township Fire Company said.

Firefighters are still investigating the exact cause of the fire. They think a furnace under the trailer may be responsible.
