HUGHESTOWN, LUZERNE COUNTY- An icy spot on Washington Terrace put in a motion a nail-biting series of events for one driver. Police say an unidentified lady lost control of her car when it hit some ice. The car apparently struck a utility pole, burst into flames and hit a nearby house. Nobody was injured.
