BERWICK, COLUMBIA COUNTY- A Columbia County school crossing guard has pleaded guilty in connection to a case where he was charged with molesting several young kids.

Dale Hutchings was in court Wednesday. He was arrested last year and charged with more than 1,000 counts of sexual assault against seven children.

Hutchings pled guilty to 36 of those counts. Some of those incidents happened inside his home.

In addition to being a crossing guard, Hutchings was also active in the Berwick Area School District and he served as an EMT.
