WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A former Wilkes-Barre D-P-W worker was is court today.
Eric Sheilds told WBRE TV News he stole a city jeep out of necessity.
“The place I used to live at I got threatened to get a bullet in my head and I just moved out and I didn't have no money. I just went down, took a jeep from DPW and I was living in it. The keys were in it, the gas was there. The gate was open."
Shields’ is accused of defacing the D-P-W jeep to conceal that the city owned it.
All charges will now move onto court. | |
