TREVORTON, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- A Trevorton Fire Company treasurer drained $50,000 dollars from the department's account.

State Police say Heather Lynn Foulds wrote checks and cashed them from the volunteer department's account.

Police say it happened over a three-year period.

Foulds is no longer treasurer.

The department had no comment.

Foulds was not at the Northumberland County jail when we checked.
