SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- John Klimkiewicz, 44, formally of Lackawanna County, has waived his right to a preliminary hearing on a string of child sex abuse charges.
Police say Klimkiewicz had improper physical contact with a young man from Simpson who recently turned 18.
The victim told police he knew Klimkiewicz for years, and that the touching had been going on for as long as he could remember.
According to the police report, Klimkiewicz moved to Atlanta, Georgia in part because the the victim's mother found out about the abuse.
Klimkiewicz is charged with corruption of minors, indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent exposure and unlawful contact with a minor.
His bail was set at $100,000.
