Former Tax Clerk Pleads No Contest to Stealing Thousands - Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 5:10PM EST
WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A former clerk in the Luzerne County Tax Office has pleaded no contest to stealing thousands of dollars in delinquent tax payments.
Jennifer Masulis made the plea Tuesday morning in court. Prosecutors say she stole more than $14,000 between April 2006 and February 2007.
She faces up to 7-years in prison. A judge scheduled her sentencing for tax day, April 15th. | | |
