(BINGHAMTON, NY/WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY) A Field Hockey Coach with ties to Northeastern Pennsylvania is behind bars in Binghamton, NY for allegedly raping at least three teens he coached in Upstate New York. The Broome County Sheriff in Binghamton says it’s likely there are more victims out there. And its technology, like this cell phone that we use to text and take pictures that authorities say has landed Todd, T.J. Broxmeyer in even more trouble on Friday with Federal Authorities. Broxmeyer was the Field Hockey Coach to hundreds of women in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania including a handful of girls at Wilkes University. This is 37-year-old Todd Broxmeyer of Lisle, New York. Federal Agents charged him with possession of child porn late Friday morning in Binghamton. Officials say they found disturbing images of young females on Broxmeyer’s cell phone and computer. Court papers show agents are still trying to identify many of the photos. Broome County Sheriff David Harder spoke with WBRE News, "A lot of people trusted him and he went along. There could be other victims maybe in the position he was in, he was well respected." Broxmeyer coached hundreds of players at the Model Hockey and Southern Tier Field Hockey Academies in Binghamton and he was also the former Field Hockey Coach at Wilkes-University during the 2003-2004 seasons. Officials at Wilkes say Broxmeyer left on his own to pursue other business interests. Spokeswoman Christine Tondrick told WBRE news the school has notified three or four student athletes who played for Broxmeyer of his recent arrest. Reporter Jill Konopka asks, “Can you put a number as to how many potential victims there could be in Pennsylvania? Sheriff Harder responds, “I can't do that because we don't know yet." The Broome county sheriff says Broxmeyer also used his position in the Southern Tier to allegedly rape at least three of his teen players. He's been locked up since before Christmas. Sheriff Harder added, "He gained their confidence and worked from there by having them come over to his residence or trying to push himself onto them." They also say Broxmeyer took advantage of a 15-year-old from Allentown, who was in Binghamton for a field hockey tournament. But sheriff harder says these multiple investigations don't end there. Sheriff Harder added, "Our office at this time is interviewing different people and we're expected to go down to Pennsylvania sometime this week or next to interview some of the females there and I'm not sure about New Jersey yet. We're trying to get the word out and as we get the word out we're getting phone calls from different areas." Broxmeyer is locked up in the Broome County jail. Officials in Binghamton are asking anyone who played for Todd Broxmeyer to contact them at 607-778-1196 Or the FBI in Binghamton at 607-722-5321or The Pennsylvania State Police. WBRE News did contact the State Police Barracks in Gibson, Dunmore, Blooming Grove, Honesdale and Wyoming. Officials at each of those Barracks say they have not received any complaints regarding Todd Broxmeyer.
