MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY- Pennsylvania State Police report four people are dead, the apparent result of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.

The victims were found in a home in Winona Lakes development, a private community north of Stroudsburg. Emergency responders showed up there late Saturday afternoon, making the discovery.

CO is colorless, tasteless, odorless gas. There's no word on identities or ages of the victims.
