TUNKHANNOCK, WYOMING COUNTY- Family and friends paid their respects Tuesday night to Frank Valvano.
Valvano was killed on Saturday when a car struck his motorcycle on I-81 in Hazle Township.
Valvano was a long-time educator and school administrator in the area. His viewing was held at Tunkhannock Area Middle School and Tuesday night those attending remember him as a dear friend.
Valvano's funeral is Wednesday and classes are canceled in the Tunkhannock School District.
