Williamsport veterans also had the chance to spruce up their wheels for free.

Owners of the Ultimate Express Car Wash have been offering the complimentary service to vets on this day since 2004.

Employee Yvette Heim explained, "Well we've been doing it every year. It's a free $12 car wash to say thank you for serving us. We want to make sure people don't forget what they've done for us."

The free car wash ran from 7:30am to 7:00pm. Ultimate Express Car Wash is located on Washington Boulevard in Williamsport.
