FREELAND, LUZERNE COUNTY-The owner of a Luzerne County housing complex says he is "very sorry" for water problems over the weekend.
A major water line broke at the Freeland Village late Thursday workers for the housing complex began repairs, but could not finish them leaving the residents without water.
Freeland Mayor Tim Martin stepped in to help out at the private development
The owner Mosha Eichler was out of town, and because of religious reasons, could not reached by anyone.

"But again I'm very sorry for all the residents to have to go through this, anyone who knows who knows me in the village knows me,. I'm very proactive person..do the right thing."
Mayor Tim Martin says Eichler will be billed for the work and points out that Freeland Village does recieve federal money.
