PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY- A heart warming story from the hardwoods.
Members of the Wyoming Valley West Girl's basketball team honored the memory of a former member, Akacia Klick. She died this past summer from a genetic blood disease.
Wednesday night's game with the Scranton Prep raised funds to help the family with the medical expenses. The team sold t-shirts.
For Akacia's family the evening was very emotional. | | |
