WEATHERLY, CARBON COUNTY -- A family in Carbon County held a fundraiser Sunday hoping to raise money for their daughter who needs a liver transplant.

Kendra Moyer of Weatherly is just 2-years-old. She suffers from a rare disease and desperately needs a new liver.

Sunday her family held a Chinese auction at the Weatherly firehouse to help pay for her treatments.
Kendra has been on the waiting list for the last year. Her mom says the bills are adding-up. "Transportation to and from doctor visits constantly, staying down in the Philadelphia area, it's two hours away for us, food, lodging, all kinds of things, missed work... I mean we missed weeks of work for different hospital stays," said mom Leslie Moyer.
