HANOVER TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Two fires in two weeks in Hanover Township. Noble Furniture's storage shed was burned down Wednesday night on East Main Street. Now a Fire Marshal is calling it arson.

The fire at Noble Furniture happened next door to Varsity Greenhouse. That's where a big fire happened last week.
Management at Noble Furniture is dealing with the fact that someone intentionally set the fire. Rhys Evans works at Noble Furniture and says, "It's just devastating to us, you know, to find out that somebody wanted to burn the building down."

Evans shows us where the arsonist tried to burn the building down too. Firefighters put out the flames, and no furniture was damaged.
This fire comes after flames hit a nearby building. Just last week fire destroyed a whole crop of flowers at Varsity Greenhouse next door. Management says thousands of dollars of flowers were lost. Now, a Fire Marshal will take a closer look at that fire.

Noble Furniture managers hope police catch the person who set the fire at their business. Noble is no stranger to fires. It’s former building in Nanticoke burned down in the 70's before moving to East Main.

Now workers hope history won't repeat itself. Evans says, "Hope they catch whoever did it. I mean hope he gets what's deserving."

Until then, this investigation remains open. Right now the Varsity Greenhouse fire is ruled undetermined.

Meanwhile, Noble Furniture says it will replace it's storage shed. This time it will use a metal truck bed that locks, so fire can't get to what's inside.
