WEST HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY- Keeping our children and neighborhoods safe..
The goal Wednesday night of a special crime program -- in West Hazleton.
The West Hazleton Crime Watch sponsored a safety seminar.
It was held at the West Hazleton Middle School and covered several issues, including gangs, that are trying to make in-roads in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Catching internet predators, also a hot topic Butler Township Police Corporal Bill Feissner talked about internet safety efforts, and the success, of the on-going sting operation with the i-team. And the new internet task force in the Hazleton area..
The bottom line getting the message out, that people getting involved can keep the bad guys out.
