SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Lackawanna County man has been ordered to complete a state drug rehabilitation course or face at least three years in prison for robbery.

Earl Frazier was arrested in June following a hold up at the Exxon Station on Meadow Avenue in Scranton.

Frazier is currently being held at the State Correctional Facility in Camp Hill.

Frazier was given the opportunity to participate in the drug rehab program during a teleconference with County Judge Michael Barrasse in Scranton.

Judge Barrasse indicated that evaluators believe Frazier's criminal activity was prompted by his addiction to alcohol and drugs.

If Frazier fails to complete the program he will be sentenced to prison on the robbery charges.
