PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY -- The visitor's policy for an area hospital change will change Monday to help prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus.
Geisinger Health System is taking precautionary measures after reporting treating about 500 new swine flu cases this month at its hospitals.
Visitors will be screened at the door and those with flu-like symptoms will be asked to come back another time.
The only exception -- visitors with symptoms who are visiting a family member in serious condition. Those visitors will be asked to wear a mask. | | |
